Tapas and Sangria

When you mention Spain to anyone, the first things they talk about are tapas and sangria. I thought tapas were a type of food not a particular way of serving food. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Granada was the perfect place to be introduced to tapas because they were FREE! Order a sangria (or any drink) and they bring out a tapa. Sometimes you order, sometimes they have a set round but either way isn't free food. Were got spolied to free tapas our first stop in Spain because they weren't free the rest of the trip!

We finally arrived in Spain after a crazy long time traveling and we headed straight for a snack, and a drink.
Mom and Carter were having a very intense discussion about if we should try the tropical sangria or stick with the traditional.
We went with the tropical and ended up deciding it was just orange juice with a few fruits in it. We were very disappointed!!
After a very long day of hiking up and around the Alhambra in the heat, we decided it was sangria time!
Our last night there we decided instead of a nice meal, we would just tapas bar hop and try different places. Our first stop was the chinese tapas bar.
Our second place we weren't so thrilled by. Mom would describe it as a fabric napkin place which means the sangria weren't 2 Euro. So we paid a little more but Dianna met a new boyfriend.
He was quite entranced by Dianna!!
Carter on the other hand was not so thrilled.

Next up we had some type of nachos with Sangria of course.

And our last stop was Kendall's favorite Granada hangout, D'Cuadros.
I had one of these nice wine glasses that I broke as soon as we got to Sevilla. I was very disappointed!!
Carter man was a trooper!! Poor thing was probably exhausted. It reminded me of the night Dianna graduated from college and we had Caleb at her graduation party until really late. He was so tired but stayed awake because he didn't want to miss anything. That was Carter while we bar hopped.
