Caleb's photography- August edition

On any given day when my phone tells me it cant take any more pictures, that's usually a clue Caleb has gotten ahold of it. I never really know what I am going to see when I go to my picture reel. There's usually lots of these:

Kennedy- august

One thing I love about this little girl is she is a girly girl princess who isn't scared to get dirty.

 People often say"Your kids crack me up because you never know what they are going to have on." Unless its school or church I'mnot fighting my kids on what they are going to wear. Caleb has worn his jammies out many of times with cowboy boots or light up shoes.

Kennedy learned to climb out of her bed so we turned her crib into a big girl bed.

bath and bedtime

 Sometimes the whole dinner, bath, bed time process can be a little stressful and overwhelming. Especially on nights when I am doing it by myself. It seems an endless cycle of them all going down easily, then all of a sudden its crazy for a little while and then it goes back to easy. Switching on a dime and for no reason what so ever. This past week we have been in a not so fun phase of screaming and monsters and afraid of the dark. But this night was not one of those nights, at least not at this moment. Now five minutes from when these were taken all Hell could've broken loose. They may have been running around or all screaming from their beds for Mommy. But the joy about this is I don't remember how the rest of the night went, because this is what sticks out! One day, hopefully this is what I will remember and not the craziness of bedtime!

Back 2 School

With August comes, new classes and for Carter, a new school. Our "School" went all through the summer with a two week break before the new year. So we hadn't really been out too long, but when we went back everyone started new classes, including Carter and myself. Everyone was posting their back to school pictures, so we had to join in too.

 This was quite entertaining to try to get this shot by myself!

 Caleb with his new teachers. He was so excited. He kept telling me he was going to a new "Big kid" class. He has done so well in his new class. I just smile every time his teachers tell me he's the leader of the class. Always smiling and so happy and helpful! It sure makes this Momma happy to hear how awesome he is doing!

 I kept seeing something bobbing in and out of Kennedy's nose. Upon further investigation, this is what I found!!

Why do kids put things up their noses?!?

He will kill me one day but this was absolutely hilarious! On a road trip, I opened the door and told Tyler Caleb had to go to the bathroom. i look over and see this! I guess walking inside took too much effort!
