"I stuck" and more
These are some of Caleb's "I stuck" pictures. Of course when I hear him say it I grab my phone or camera because its usually a funny photo op.

These are just some outside shots I had taken on my phone that never made it on the computer until now.

"Should I try it?!?"

Caleb was playing while I was cleaning and I noticed it was really quite. He had gotten tired and decided he was ready for a nap! If only it was always that easy!!

I'm so glad my little man doesn't take after his Momma! He LOVES eggs! This is just proof in case he decides down the road he doesn't like them!!!

So gross but I had to document this wonderful habit he's gotten into! Just one of many times he made himself throw up!

a little icecream and a lot of love
By about dinner time with Tyler being on call two of the last three nights, I kind of started having a mini panic attack. This is just the beginning of nights without Tyler. For the next couple years this will be something we will just have to get used to. I know that, I've been ready for it and tried to prepare for it! But thats not really what was getting me. Here I am tired from chasing around Caleb all day and I'm thinking to myself we are about to throw another little one into this equation. Right as Tyler is about to really start getting crazy at work, Caleb is full of life and crazier than ever and we are going to throw another baby into the mix. So after watching Caleb play in the tub and planning it out in my head (Tues and Thurs Caleb's going to be at school/ PDO, zoo, children's museum storytime... we can do it pep talk) I prayed about it and just told God I was going to leave it all in his hands because I know I can not do this without Him. Then I packed up my little man and we treated ourselves to TCBY!!! Pitty party/ mini freak out averted! Then we had an amazing night! The Lord just really calmed my nerves and filled my heart with so much love for my little man that I knew thats what was going to get me through it. Despite the crazy times throughout the day (spilling red stuff all over the carpet first thing in the morning, making himself throw up all over himself and his carseat, crazy fits over absolutely nothing at all...), it all just gets erased when he gives me that big grin, a great big hug, a slobbery wet kiss, or replies I love you when I tell him how much I love him. So tonight we shared icecream, cuddled up and read books, laughed until we were red in the face, hugged and kissed, and proved to my nervous heart that things will get crazy but these little moments and strength from Above are what's going to get us through!

Its not as bad as it looks!!
Sometimes words just won't do it justice. I love posting videos on here, if you can't tell!
When I showed these to Tyler I got in trouble for not only letting him do this but filming it. I guess I am a little more laid back and let him get away with more, but all trying to stop him is going to do it wear me out and make him want to do it more! I'm always right there and I don't let him get too crazy! He's a boy what can you do!!
Here's one of his "falls". It really does look worse than it was! (And the bad thing is, I'm not posting the one that looks the worst in fear of looking like a bad Mom!! :) )He was laughing but I did put pillows down after this. Then he really went crazy with it.
Here are some more Little Gym videos that K-Nae filmed on Tuesday. And to my lovely family that keep forgetting I'm pregnant and noticing the weight I've gained. I do look a little thicker around the belly, thats what happens 7 1/2 months pregnant!! They know I'm pregnant but for some reason when they look at pictures they forget and wonder why I look so big! (Dianna and Nina, not to name names or anything!!!)
Caleb has gotten so good on the beam. He'll walk/run down it just holding my fingers! This time he got a little excited about jumping off the end and jumped a little early. This may make the men cringe, thank goodness for a padded diaper :) I love his reaction after, such a boy!!
Here Caleb showed off what he'd be practicing at home! I'm afraid this new love of jumping won't always be in appropriate places and he's going to jump off of something one day and get hurt! You should have seen him in the pool last weekend. He got daring enough to run and jump in. He'd go completely under water (with a life jacket and us standing there of course) and pop back up laughing! I was upset I forgot my camera. He looked like the Incredibles in his little life jacket/ wet suit thing.
Now that we've mastered jumping off and swinging on the bars, we added flipping over them. This was new and I wondered what Caleb would think about it (I don't know why, he's not really afraid of anything!!) but of course he loved it and wanted to do it over and over! Caleb has turned into the kid they use to model things and show the other kids because he's usually up for trying anything!
You can see the look he gives the other little boy. He has started giving "strangers" (I put it in quotes because its pretty much everyone except Tyler and I, even people he sees all the time) this mean look and getting shy. When people try to talk to him he'll give them this mean look and cover his face until he warms up to them. Unless we are at church or somewhere he's going to play. Then he just runs on in and starts playing. He only fussed a couple times when I'd drop him off until he realized he liked it and would have fun playing. I dropped him off at KidStation today so I could go to the doctor and he ran in with a big grin. Didn't think twice or even say bye! He's getting so big!

Mother's Day
Mother's Day has been extra special the last couple of years and not just because I'm a mother myself now. Last year on Mother's Day was Caleb's baby dedication at church and the year before we told all the Antee family we were pregnant and Caleb was on his way.
My little man is 17 months old today! Each month I post how I can't believe its gone so fast and how big he's gotten and the next month the same thing happens! Whoever is pushing the fast forward button needs to stop! He really changes so much each month and this month he is talking more than ever. Caleb's always babbled and loved to hear himself talk, yes thats an Antee trait! But these last two months he's really talking even more. He will copy anything you say, this could be a scary thing! :) He's picked up a couple more signs and smiles so big when using them. Like he's so proud of himself that we know what he's saying. And he loves reading more than ever! After finishing one book you think you've done your duties and he goes and gets you another one, not stopping until there's a huge pile of books on the floor. We are lucky if we get a pass after each book to read a new one and not have to read the same one two or three times. But I love that he loves reading and I will cherish every minute of him crawled up in my lap smiling and laughing at the stories! Because before I know it he'll be reading them himself and not want to cuddle with his old uncool momma! Some of his favorites right now are: Cool Time Song, Where the Wild Things Are, Raindrop Plop, A Mudpie for Mother, Goodnight Moon

Doesn't he just look so grown up!! I know every picture I post I say that but where did my baby go!!!

Trying to get a cute picture of both of us is quite difficult! The cutest ones of him are terrible of me. I have come to terms with the fact that I am not as photogenic as Tyler and Caleb. I'll settle with this one.
I love this of Caleb but I swear my face is not this fat in person!!! :)
