More Zoo time

One of the highlights we made sure to take everyone to see, was the Taronga Zoo. Its not only a great zoo but you can see the best views of Sydney!! This time it was Yabe and Dyson's turn to check it out. The only ones missing were Caleb who was at school and Tyler was at work. 

 
This was not approved by mom first!!!  And obviously he doesn't get his fearlessness in this department from me!!

Carter decided to try to chase an iguana.  You can tell from this picture who won that battle and went running away!!

Jane and Kennedy were putting on a show for us!

They did a really great job on the bird show. One of our favorites things at the zoo.

Aquarium fun

 One of the first stops once Dyson and Yabe came was Darling Harbour and the Aquarium. Here's a bunch of pictures of the fun!!

 These kids aren't going to turn down a chance to touch some of the animals. How many times do you think they tried to climb in or have to be told "don't pick them up, touch gently!"

We've been so excited for Yabe and Dyson to come visit us!!! After a long trip they made it. Let the adventures begin!!! Dyson got off the plane and was ready to hit the waves!!!

  

Julys days down under

The little kids and I are finding our own fun while Caleb is in school! When in doubt, just head to the beach!

 Caleb's school has a really cute Garden, with chickens!! We started going to Garden Club on Wednesdays and helped plant and harvest the veggies!!!

 

You can't go to Sydney and not get Uggs, right?

Octonauts at the Aquarium

We saw that the Octonauts were going to be at the Aquarium and we haven't been down to check it out yet so off we went. Over the next 6 months we would become regulars to Darling Harbour and the aquarium, zoo and wax museum down there!

 Tyler's looking quite Aussie himself these days!! Never thought I'd see him in straight leg skinny pants!! Sydney Target purchase because he didn't really pack winter clothes!
