Caleb lately

Yes he went to school like that! I put this on him and it was too small and he wouldn't let me change him. I tried to tuck it in but it didn't stay! :)
Caleb LOVES his Sissy. He is always giving her hugs and kisses.
So sweet! He's officially in his big boy room. After 2 weeks of sleeping in there, he finally realized he could get out! We had a couple early morning surprises in our room and he's started fighting us to stay in his bed. But for the most part he's doing great with it! I would say it was MUCH easier than I ever thought it'd be.
Cookies with Grandparents at Caleb's "school" I was a stand in grandparent since all of his live far away. He is loving school! And his teacher looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if he threw fits up there. I guess he saves them all for me!
He looks like he could be in the Cullen family in this pic!
Caleb has all of a sudden just turned into such a big boy! He is talking none stop. I am understanding more and more each day. He can be so sweet and so affectionate. He loves giving hugs and kisses! I just melts my heart when he says "I love you momma" I just love this little guy more than he will ever know!!

Kennedy's room

So after 2 months we finally finished Kennedy's room. Caleb is officially in his big boy room so I could get Sissy's room finished.
Caleb left his mark on the crib! Yes those are from his teeth!

Sissy's 2 months old

My how fast time flies when you're having fun and staying busy! I can't believe my sweet girl is 2 months old!! Kennedy is the happiest baby. She loves to smile and has started laughing a little. She just looks all around soaking everything in.
1st LSU game. Caleb says "Touchdown Tigers!!!"
Heading to the pool! Just wait til you see my beach bod!
Being lazy during tummy time
Waiting for 2 month check up
I'm so strong!
Here's whats going on at 2 months:
- 13 lbs. 11 oz (over the 95th percentile)
- 24" long (95th percentile)
- in size 2 diapers (we were trying to use up our supply of size 1s but they just can't contain her anymore so we will just have to save them)
- smiling and cooing all the time
- sleeps from 9:15ish PM- 6:45-7:15ish AM (she is a GREAT sleeper and has been since day 1)
- trying to roll over (she gets up to her side)
- constantly kicking and moving her arms when lying down
- loves sticking her tongue out
- eats every 3-4 hours during the day
- constantly on the move and just goes with the flow of our crazy schedules
- recognizes Mommy's voice and turns and smiles to find me

Kennedy is such a happy baby! We are so incredibly blessed! We love her so much and can't wait to see the plan God has in store for such a sweet angel!

Pump it up

We went to Pump it Up today with some friends and Caleb had a blast!!! I couldn't keep up with him, he was running around like crazy! When we got home he was so tired. He went straight to his room, crawled in bed and went straight to sleep!
Running to go at it again
I have to admit I didn't think he'd be able to do this one! But after I helped him once, he was at it again. I am always surprised at what this little one can do! Nothing gets in his way!
"I can do this!"
Almost there!
Made it!!!
Ok now its Mom's turn too (nice backside shot I know!)
We made it!
Ok, so I filmed this and then half way through noticed I was filming sideways, woops sorry!
Sissy just had to watch from the sidelines!

Birthdays

As I drink my coffee and get ready to start my day, I am wondering. Why do people not acknowledge their birthdays or freeze their age at one specific year. My Grandmother is 22! She has 5 grandkids and now 2 great grandkids but she's 22! The last couple birthdays Tyler had, I could tell he was in a funk. I thought maybe I didn't get a good enough present (I'm not good at presents and he's so hard to buy for!!) or I didn't make his day special enough. But I later drag it out of him that he feels old and is depressed about his birthday! I have to admit I love birthdays! Once it turns September 1st, I think its my birthday month! Now I'm not obnoxious about it, I may not say it out loud but internally I get excited. Maybe I'm not old enough yet to want to be younger but I love birthdays! Its the one day a year that everyone has to be nice to you!! :) My alarm clock (Caleb) went off at 7:00 this morning. Still in a fog I didn't really realize it was my birthday yet. When I turned the corner to get him out of his room, his face lights up and he says "HI MOMMA!" If I froze time at 22 or 25, I wouldn't have had that wonderful moment! Then I go back to my room to get ready for the day and I see my little princess sleeping so peacefully. I think about this last year with my pregnancy and having this sweet blessing! If I didn't acknowledge this birthday I wouldn't have her! This past year was full of sooo many blessings why would I want to erase it? Then I check my email and I have so many birthday wishes from friends and family all over the world (South Korea and Switzerland shout outs)! Birthdays make you feel so loved and blessed to have such great friends and an amazing family!! Even if you had a tough year full of trials and tribulations, you are still here. God blessed you with another year! So as I was showering all this was going through my head and I just thought I'd share it! All of you that freeze time (Nina, Aunt Margie :)), embrace each year because it has made you who you are and be glad that you are blessed with another year! A friend asked me yesterday how old I was turning and I had to think about it! So I guess I am getting old, but bring it on! I can't wait to see what 27 has in store for me and 28 and 29 and yes even 30! Bring it! :)

And Happy birthday to my grandmother Buzz. I am so blessed to be able to share this special day with you and I wish we could spend it together but I will see you soon! I love you! (I don't know if she'll see this because she doesn't get on the computer but just in case she does :)
