Flamenco dancing

After a day at the bullrink, it was time to experience a part of the Spanish culture that wasn't so brutal, flamenco dancing. We heard this place had a great free show. You know we are all over FREE. We went by earlier to find it and to see if the information on the website was correct. If you didn't know it was there you never would have found it. Hidden in the winding maze streets of Sevilla, the bar just blended into the surrounding buildings but once inside it was huge and had a big courtyard. They were closed but they told us what time the show was and when to come back. So we went, quite a bit early I may add, to make sure we got decent seats. We sat enjoyed a few drinks and rested while we waited for the show to start.
We were the only ones in the bar when we got there but then it got crowed fast right before show time.
Where's Carter? He's on his own little palette on the bench.

Dianna was excited. The special was buy one beer get a shot of whiskey to go with it.
Really mom?
Ok lets try again. This time its blurry.
Poor thing. It was so hot in there!
The show started and it was at least 20 minutes of this guy singing (not even good singing) and the dancer just clapping along. I had a terrible headache and felt really bad. So I was beyond over it and soo aggravated that we wasted our time when we could be in bed.

She looked as excited to be there as I was!!
Then she finally got up and started dancing and I have to say she was pretty dang good! You could hear her feet tapping but her whole upper body wasn't moving. I was afraid she was going to pass out because it was so hot and she was sweating so bad.

Afterwards I was glad we went but it sure was torturous the first part. I was ready to get up and walk out but no one else seemed eager to leave yet. I'm glad we stuck it out. She was pretty incredible. Dianna and I both claim we could do it too. Dianna was secretly hoping they'd pull her up on stage to do it.
