Oklahoma visit

A couple weekends ago we went to Oklahoma for John's, Tyler's step dad's, retirement party.  John is such a strong man who is always there to greet you with a smile, big hug and usually a joke of some kind.  We were so glad to be able to be there with his family and friends to show how much we love and care about him.

These first few pictures are from our flight over. Thank goodness we had a direct flight.
The picture on the left is my side of the plane. This picture is very deceiving because they did not stay this way!! The picture on the right is Tyler's side of the plane. Yes he's playing solitaire. Man did I draw the short straw or what!!
These were all the wonderful ladies who came out Friday night to help us get all the food ready for the party. We could have never done it without them, or we wouldn't have slept any :)
This is what Tyler and the kids were doing while we were party planning. Planning around at the mall.
I got back to the hotel and thought I had both kids asleep. I was in Todd's room resting up from a busy day when all of a sudden I hear Kennedy laughing. She had been asleep for about 30 minutes. Caleb I thought had finally gone to sleep. I was wrong. He snuck in her bed and woke her up!!
We did have a little time to sneak in a trip to the new outlet mall! Caleb got his first pair of light up shoes and was so pumped!!
I wasn't able to get many pictures from the party because I was chasing around two crazy kiddos. But here's a few.
Carey's amazing party planning skills were a success once again.

They had a band from church sing and our kids loved them! We literally had to drag Caleb away kicking and screaming, a couple times because he kept sneaking back up there!
Sunday we were able to go out to YaBe and John's house to hang out for the afternoon and have a mini birthday party for YaBe because our flight didn't leave until almost 5.
Thank goodness we didn't use all this watermelon at the party because we would've missed out! It was one of the best I've ever had! My kids thought so too.
 Happy birthday YaBe!!!!
I'm so glad we were able to squeeze in a little cousin time. They had a ball!
