A typical day in my life...

Since I spend most of my days by myself with the kids, I take lots of pictures and send them out as texts with stories to share with my mom, sister, Tyler and whoever else. This happens at least once a day. I'm waiting for the thanks but no thanks talk when they get tired of all my texts. So here are a couple of the ones I've sent out this past week.

So we are back to fighting to go to bed. I was trying to get him down for a nap and after awhile, I ignored the screaming because I was trying to finish his pumpkin outfit. All of a sudden I hear the babygate at his door crash down and he comes running around the corner like this!
Well naturally I grab my phone to take a pic and send it to Tyler. As I'm sending the text I hear "sssss" He pee'd on the rug! Here was the battle scene. His shirt, shorts, diaper, shoes and baby monitor all thrown over the crashed gate!
He tooted in the tub and thought it was hilarious! This is him pushing with all his might to squeeze out another one! Thank Goodness he didn't squeeze out something else!
Another bedtime fight. All of a sudden I hear pitter patter in the kitchen and look to see him peaking around the corner.
A child after my own heart! He did all but pick the cheese bowl up and lick it!
eating his "No nuts" on the way to the pumpkin patch!
Loving the jumpy jump at church
His toes are even pointed
Daddy's at work so we decided to go get a treat after dinner.
Going...
Going...
Gone!!
I hear "hat hat" and come out to see Caleb running around with a bra he got out of my drawer on his head!
Just swinging in Sissy's swing with her paci
Here he was getting pissed at his cup because the straw wouldn't reach the juice at the bottom and he couldn't get it out. His teacher told me today when I picked him up that at lunch he handed her the cup mad and said what's this? She thought he didn't like the juice, but he was really just mad at the cup.
He's discovered the doggy door again but now knows how to take the cover off.
Here's his outfit I worked forever on! Next time I know to just follow the directions I'd printed off. Oh well. This is the best picture I've gotten so far. Kennedy is like "oh dear God please don't let him jump this way!!"
No two days are ever alike and never has a day gone by that our house is not filled with laughter! This kid is to blame for the laugh lines on my face! And I will never fill them with botox because so many great memories created them!!
I ask him daily why are you so cute! And tell him constantly I love you so much followed by kisses, tickles and hugs! If kissing your babies too much gives them a complex later in life then watch out because my kids are going to have issues! I'm totally addicted to kissing them to death, hugs, smiles and most of all hearing them laugh!
Caleb and Kennedy: Always know that your Mommy loves you very much and that you are what makes my day so bright each and every day!

  1. I love all of these pictures and the captions! It reminds me that I am not alone in dealing with a crazy toddler. My favorite is the last picture! The pumpkin outfit turned out great!
