So stinkin' handsome!

My little man is growing up too fast! I only have 1 more monthly update before you stop counting him by months! I've been saying he'll be 2 in December. That means he's way too close to 2!!! This last month I have watch Caleb grow up right before our eyes! He has always been a talker, nonstop! but this month you can understand him more and more by the minute. He know what he wants when he wants it and since he can communicate that better it has cut down on fits. He still lets you know he's not happy when he doesn't get his way. He will say 3-4 word sentences but he still gets going way too fast and babbels out whole conversations you have no idea what he's saying. Caleb has started playing with friends and not as much "parallel play". I love watching him interact with his friends, chasing them around, tickling them, and laughing the whole time! He's still working on sharing but is doing much better! I say all the time, he looks like his daddy but he has the Antee personality! He loves people and is a social butterfly! It really is amazing how much this kid talks. Its the Antee in him, he never shuts up and loves to hear himself talk! My little man loves to laugh and is always smiling! He laughs so hard sometimes, I swear it comes all the way from his toes! I love this sweet boy so much!
Caleb loves his "Sissy" and has really taken the role as the protective big brother!

Intently watching Mickey on Ice

He brought me his swim diaper and said "on mama, swim swim" so I put it on over his clothes and then he brings me his swimsuit "swim mama swim" (side note: the weather just switched from scorching hot to 50ish). So then he spent the whole rest of the morning in his swim clothes over his jammies and would not let me take them off! :)

Last year we saw this man painting these and we decided we'd wait until 2 (almost 2) so we decided we'd give it a try! Tyler and his brother's all had these done when they were younger and he was just as excited to get Caleb's done as I was. Trying to hold him still for an hour was challenging but so worth it! I catch myself staring at this portrait all the time. I LOVE it! Tyler said it looks a lot like what his looked like. I wish we could compare them but Tyler's didn't make it out of the "Great Fire of '99 :(" Now this man just has to hold out a few more years so we can get all our kids done (he's 81 years old!!)
He looks WAY tooo big!!
