These last two weeks have been a whirlwind of fun and we have a couple days to recup at home before heading off on our last leg of our 3 week adventure.
To start it off the kids and I headed down to Orange Beach to meet Papa K, KK, KNae and Uncle Flash. I was a little nervous because up until that point my longest drive with the kids alone was 6 hours. They usually do great and we always have made it in one piece but this would be a new record. With a couple stops for diaper changes, gas and food we made it to and from Orange Beach in about 7- 7 1/2 hours. I have to say taking two kids 2 and 1 to the beach without Daddy, is a totally different beach experience then I've ever had. Despite wearing Mommy out, we had a great time.

Seriously, they both fell asleep with about 30 minutes left in the trip.
We finally made it and I had 2 really excited kiddos! They couldn't wait to get on that beach!The puddle on the balcony bought me a little bit of time before our first adventure in the sand.
It sure didn't take long before she was eating fistfuls of sand!
