This weekend we had Kennedy's baby dedication. I love that both of my kiddos so far have been dedicated on Mother's Day weekend. It just makes it even more special. Tyler and I had some "homework" we had to do before the dedication where we had to write out who we wanted Kennedy to become and things we would do for ourselves, our marriage, and our Faith to make sure we are strong and grounded in order to pass that on to her. On Saturday we had a brunch, where we shared these things with our family and partnered with them to do the best we could do to raise her to be the young woman we described we wanted her to become. Our children are both blessed to have such an amazing family and so many people that love them so much. They have so many great role models to look up to and we are so thankful for that! Kennedy had both of her grandfathers, K-Nae and Annie there to celebrate with us, and so many others who were their in spirit who we know wished they could have been there and sent their love from a far. Is she a ham or what!!
