Tyler and I have been looking at swingsets since Caleb's first birthday but decided to wait until this spring to get one. Caleb wasn't quite big enough last year but now he's definitely able to maneuver his way around all parts of it. So once boards were over and Tyler had a weekend off we decided to just bite the bullet and do it!
Here is what we started with!

I went through Friday morning and sorted all the hardware by steps to help keep things moving once we got started.
Tyler and Jonathan were able to sneak away early on Friday and get a jump start. So here's what we started with on Saturday. You can see Daddy had a little helper.
We finished the picnic table just in time for lunch. So we took a break and had a family picnic.
Kennedy kept a close watch to make sure things ran smoothly.
This was after our first full day of work. Almost done! Emery came over to test out the slide.
And here's the finished product. 14 hours of assembly with a couple hours of sorting and organizing before hand and we are done!
We made the little area underneath Kennedy's play area. The plastic mat lasted a couple days before some friends pulled it out. She doesn't stay put for long before she's crawling out.
