Christmas Eve

Mimi, Nonno and KNae came to Memphis to spend Christmas with us. Tyler was on call Christmas Eve so it was really nice to have family here with us. We had a great day. Now that we have our own kids and live out of town, this was really our first Christmas to start making our own family traditions. Caleb is bigger this year and really got into all that we were doing. And Tyler was able to come home for a couple hours for the Christmas Eve pizzas and Santa cookie baking! That was an added Christmas surprise! (Side note: i just realized I didn't get a single picture of the Christmas pizzas!!!)

The weather really warmed up just enough for us to go to Shelby Farms for a walk. Caleb rode in the stroller the first 1.25 miles than was out and running full speed the rest (1.5 miles!!!) MiMi says he's ready for a 1 mile fun run! I think she's right. We are starting him early!
Yes that is the cover of an LSU lamp shade that he found and decided he needed to wear it as a scarf!
Making cookies for Santa
We didn't have cookie cutters so we used these pancake molds and they were a little big. Plus the cookies expanded just a little. But we were able to recut them after they were done and all was well with the cookies.
Christmas Eve jammies from MiMi. Buzz always gets us jammies every year that we had to wear on Christmas Eve (for the last probably 10 years she didn't even know she still did Christmas Eve jammies, MiMi has been doing them). So MiMi has continued the tradition with Caleb and now Kennedy.
