The dogs love it because they get to eat some good food. I have to keep them out when Caleb's eating because he will drop food down to them and laugh as he watches them eat it. I have to admit, I do let the dogs in and let them "clean up" when Caleb's finished. That way we're all happy. They get a yummy snack and I don't have to try to sweep up the mess!
